GDPR & Data Protection
Learn about your data protection rights and how to contact NexArt about your personal data.
Your data protection rights
Under applicable data protection law, you may have rights over the personal data processed by Chocommerce. These rights may depend on the context and legal basis for processing.
Right of access
You may request confirmation of whether NexArt processes your personal data and ask for a copy of the relevant data and information about how it is used.
Right to rectification
You may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data, such as account, billing or shipping information.
Right to erasure
You may ask us to delete personal data in certain circumstances. Some information may need to be retained for legal, accounting, tax, fraud prevention or order-related reasons.
Right to restriction
You may ask us to restrict processing of your personal data in certain cases, for example while a correction or objection request is being reviewed.
Right to data portability
Where legally applicable, you may ask to receive certain personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
Right to object
You may object to certain processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing. If you object to direct marketing, we will stop using your data for that purpose.
Right to withdraw consent
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before consent was withdrawn.
How to submit a request
To submit a data protection request, email us at support@nexartstudio.be. Please describe the right you want to exercise and include enough information for us to identify your account or order. NexArt operates as a small business and has not appointed a Data Protection Officer; your request will be handled directly by us.
Identity verification
For security, NexArt may need to verify your identity before responding to a request. This helps prevent unauthorised access to personal data.
Response time
We aim to respond within the time required by applicable law. If a request is complex or we receive many requests, the response period may be extended where legally permitted.
Complaints
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Belgium, the competent authority is the Data Protection Authority (Autorite de protection des donnees / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be, www.autoriteprotectiondonnees.be. We invite you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.
